In Loving Memory of Jerry Maki
Donation protected
My brother-in-law Jerry Maki unexpectedly passed away this past Easter Sunday. Jerry, aka “Mak”was a genuine, kind soul who touched everyone around him and he was so loved by his family and friends.
He was recently diagnosed with cancer that had metastasized to his spine which was already compromised by spinal stenosis, making any sort of treatment incredibly risky. His road ahead would have been difficult and painful to say the least, and God spared him the suffering by peacefully taking him in his sleep. He leaves behind his wife Kathy and daughters Monroe and Ava who are overwhelmed with sadness and grief.
Like a lot of people, Jerry didn’t work for most of 2020, but was unfortunately ineligible for unemployment benefits. To say things are tight financially is an understatement and the cost of a funeral is substantial.
As we prepare to say our final goodbyes, I am asking for donations to help my sister cover the cost of Jerry’s funeral and medical expenses. I hope to raise $25,000 to help ease a burden no family should have to struggle with. Please consider donating if you can, as any amount will truly help.
