In Loving Memory of Jeremy Quinby
Donazione protetta
On January 9th, we experienced the devastating and unexpected loss of Jeremy Quinby- a husband, dad, son, and brother. Just a few weeks after celebrating his 37th birthday, Jeremy experienced cardiac arrest while at home.
Jeremy was pure light in this world. If he was in the room, there was sure to be laughter. He would drop anything in a second to help someone in need. Jeremy knew how to have a great time, and lived in the present moment. Some of his favorite activities included fishing, camping, and boating. His life truly revolved around his people.
Jeremy also had an incredible work ethic, dedicating much of his life to serving our community. Jeremy spent the last 13 years serving as a firefighter and paramedic in the Newberg Fire Department (volunteer), McMinnville Fire Department and Lake Oswego Fire Department - all located in the state of Oregon. During those 13 years, he made some of the greatest friends who also became family. He also built a construction company focusing on custom home builds during this time. Most recently, he retired from firefighting to focus primarily on his company, Quinby Construction.
His absolute favorite role in life was being a dad and husband. Jeremy and his wife, Brittany, spent 22 years together after meeting in the 8th grade. If you knew Brittany and Jeremy, you know they were meant to be. Together they built a life in their farmhouse with their three children, dogs, chickens, geese, and a rabbit. Jeremy was the best dad in the world, and his children absolutely adore him.
Jeremy leaves behind his wife, Brittany, and their three children: Brooklyn (7), Camden (3), Hadley (1). He also leaves behind his mother, stepfather, sisters, in-laws, and fire family.
Funds will go directly to Jeremy’s wife, Brittany Quinby, to cover funeral expenses as well as living expenses during this difficult time.
