In Loving Memory of Jeremy Arias

Jeremy Arias became the gravitational force of any room he entered. A unique laugh, bold energy, and exceptional gentleness define the man with one of the biggest hearts to ever grace our presence. 

He never missed the midnight opening of a comic book movie. He commanded a newsroom with laughter and joy. He had an inside joke with everyone he met. 

The loss of our dear friend is unfathomable and created a void we will never fill. But the memories we made together at Easley Street, The Gazette, The Frederick News-Post, and all of Jeremy's other beloved haunts will help carry us through.

In Jeremy's beloved honor, we're collecting funds for The Humane Society, an organization that was near and dear to his heart. The money collected will be split between the Frederick County Humane Society and the Montgomery County Humane Society, two communities that he treasured.

Jeremy had a giving heart, and we believe he would appreciate any amount donated in his name.
