It is with profound heartbreak that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved Jennifer Zhu.

Just a year ago, our family endured the unimaginable loss of Jennifer’s older sister, Julie. Now, as we begin to heal, we find ourselves grieving again. The weight of losing not just one, but two beautiful daughters and sisters, is something no family should ever have to bear.

Jennifer was just 20 years old. A soul with a powerful presence, Jennifer had dreams yet to be lived and milestones yet to be celebrated. She was known for her caring heart, vibrant energy, and lighthearted nature. Her absence leaves a void that words cannot fill.

This GoFundMe has been created on behalf of Jennifer’s older brother, Michael, and her mother, to help ease the financial burden of funeral and memorial costs as they face the unimaginable pain of a second loss.

In keeping with our family’s wishes, Jennifer's funeral will be held privately. For those who wish to remember her, we invite you to do so in your own meaningful way—whether by visiting a place she loved, sharing a moment of silence, or simply holding her in your thoughts. We know she would want to be remembered with warmth, not tears.
