In Loving Memory of Jennifer Barnes

On August 2, we tragically and unexpectedly lost an amazing individual. Jennifer Barnes was a kind, warm, caring mother of four, and loving wife of Kekoa Barnes. She was a rock to her family, and they meant everything to her. She was an active member of her kids’ soccer community as a soccer coach and team manager, active in the PTA and supporting her kids to excel educationally, and fiercely proud of her daughter Kapua's singing and acceptance to the Las Vegas Academy of the Arts. Jen was a loving and loyal friend, and the kind of person who lit up any room she entered and made friends wherever she went. Her sudden passing follows the recent loss of their beloved grandmother Judi. Your help is greatly appreciated as Kekoa and the kids mourn and seek to pick up the pieces in the coming weeks and months.

We are collecting donations for the family that will be used to help defray costs associated with Jen’s memorial and to cover other unforeseen costs that may arise following her passing. Funds will also go to establishing a 529 college scholarship account for the kids, and to continue to support and enrich their lives through extracurricular and other activities.

Kekoa and the kids are surrounded and supported by an incredible community, and we will all continue to hold them in our hearts and prayers in the coming months.
