In loving memory of Jason "Moose" Crosby

Jason "Moose" Crosby, a US Army veteran and beloved powerlifting coach at The Edge in Williston, VT, and one of my dearest friends for the last 34 years, passed away unexpectedly in his sleep on Wednesday, August 13.

Known for his generous spirit and big heart, he brought people together wherever he went, always the first to lend a hand or share his knowledge. 

Jason leaves behind his wife, Tabby, and his sons, Mason (now 13) and RJ (now 14), his adult daughter, my godchild, Marsela, and Michalynn, the boy's mother, and his twin sisters, stepfather, and his mom.

Ten days before his passing, Jason and Tabby had eloped and were under contract to buy a home at the end of August, which is no longer financially feasible.

With funeral costs covered, this fundraiser will help Tabby keep Jason's apartment for the next year (they did not live with each other yet) so she and the boys can remain close to him and grieve in the space they shared with him when she stayed over and he had the boys.

Funds will go toward rent, utilities, and essential living expenses tied to the apartment.

I officiated their wedding on August 1, and years ago, we promised we'd take care of each other's families if anything should happen to either one of us. With your help, I can honor that promise.
