***UPDATE (1/5) - Thank you all for blowing past the 30K goal and nearly hitting 35K. To help manage the withdrawal and fund distribution process, Allison has given Amanda, as many of you know a close family friend of Allison's, permission to withdraw these funds on her behalf. Once again, thank you for all your contributions and your generosity during this tough time. Hope you all had a happy new year!

It is incredible to see donations continue to come in and we want those that can contribute to feel empowered to do so. The amount of people who have been reaching out has been touching and shows the power of community. We would like to expand the goal to 30K. The exact financial costs of the funeral are still being figured out and we want to make sure there is enough left for living expenses, etc. Please know that your money is going towards an important cause. Like all of you over the past couple days, I’ve been heartbroken by the passing of Jason Jeney. Over the past few years, I am one of many people that have had the pleasure of getting to know this kind, sweet soul and loving partner of my friend Allison.

Like all of you over the past couple days, I’ve been heartbroken by the passing of Jason Jeney. Over the past few years, I am one of many people that have had the pleasure of getting to know this kind, sweet soul and loving partner of my friend Allison.
While nothing will make this time easy in the lives of his loved ones, we know that Jason would want Allison to not be stressed in the midst of this period of grief. Between funeral, living expenses, etc., we want to make sure we’re doing our part to help ease this burden.

Anyone who knows Allison knows that, outside of a good Halloween party and a trip to a Rocky Horror picture showing, Allison doesn’t like to ask for anything. But Allison has given all of us so much. She is always thinking about others. For my birthday recently, she came dressed in the best costume (as always) and brought me a goodie bag filled with little presents that recalled memories only Allison’s brilliant mind has the power to so easily remember. It was the sweetest thing. Allison brings joy to us all. We all want to show her support in this difficult time.
