It is with unimaginable pain and heavy hearts that we share the sudden and unexpected passing of our beloved Janelis. This loss has shaken our family and everyone who knew and loved her. Janelis was healthy, full of life, and no one was prepared for this. There are simply no words that can truly capture the shock, the heartbreak, and the emptiness we feel.

Janelis was truly one of a kind, a remarkably beautiful soul that cannot and will never be replaced. When we say she was special, we mean it in every sense of the word. She was the best big sister anyone could ever ask for, a devoted and loving wife, as well as a woman with a heart and spirit that touched everyone she met. Her presence alone brought warmth, laughter, and comfort. You could feel her love without her ever saying a word.

She had so much personality, so much style, and so much joy for life. Janelis loved her gold jewelry and her bling; she always shined inside and out. She took pride in getting her nails creatively done, collecting her expensive perfumes, and expressing herself through fashion. Sneakers were her thing; she had every pair you could think of, and she wore them with confidence and pride. Jaja knew who she was, and she embraced it fully.

More than anything, Janelis had a beautiful spirit. She loved deeply, laughed loudly, and gave endlessly to those she cared about. She was someone you simply do not find twice in a lifetime. Her love, her energy, and her memory will live on forever in the hearts of her family, her nieces & nephews, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

We are coming together during this incredibly difficult time to ask for support in honoring Janelis’ life and laying her to rest with the love and dignity she deserves.
