In Loving Memory of Janek
It is with a heavy heart that we share that Janek passed away on May 5, 2026. Janek was born on September 3, 1976, in Los Angeles, California. Janek’s life was not easy—he faced challenges that tested him deeply, but through those struggles, he found his Savior, Jesus Christ, along with faith, purpose, and a calling to help others who were walking the same difficult road he once walked.
Janek was on a journey of transformation—he was transformed by the Holy Spirit. He committed himself to helping others and would have celebrated four years of sobriety this month. That was something he was deeply proud of, and so are we. He is survived by his children, Christopher Michael Mahoney and Julia Paige Piper, whom he loved deeply and was incredibly proud of. He spent his time encouraging others, speaking about redemption, and working toward a future where he could serve those struggling with addiction. His life became a reflection of grace, growth, and second chances.
While we are grieving this loss, we also hold onto the peace that comes from knowing his faith was real and that he is now at rest. He is now face to face with his Father in heaven. “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.” – Psalm 34:18
We are asking for support to help with funeral expenses and any arrangements needed during this difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. If you are unable to give, we ask for your prayers for Janek and for all who loved him. Thank you for your support, love, and kindness.
