Hello Beautiful people. It is with great sadness to announce that the final home going arrangements for Jana April Hawthorne must be made. Jana is a beautiful and unique light to all who knew her. She also was a loving daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin, aunt, and friend who graduated from Hammond Academy of Science & Technology 2016 Class Valedictorian. After high school, Jana then went on to graduate from Purdue University with a Bachelors in Chemistry, ACS.

A parent never anticipates having to bury their child, so this is a very unexpected and painful time for LaShonda McMorris, LaShatiana McMorris, and family. On the behalf of her loving family and friends we are asking for your assistance. Funds donated will assist in the final expenses of Jana’s home going preparations. Anyone who donates is greatly appreciated.
