In Loving Memory of James Torres Help Us Honor His Legacy

Dear friends and family,

It is with deep sorrow and faith in God’s greater plan that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved James Torres—Jimmy to those who knew and loved him—has gone home to be with the Lord after a brave battle with Stage 4 Peritoneal Cancer.

Jimmy fought with unwavering strength and courage. From the beginning of his diagnosis, he endured every surgery and treatment with hope in his heart and trust in God’s will. He fought with everything he had—not for himself alone, but for his son, who was his greatest motivation and blessing.

Though his time on earth has ended, we know that Jimmy is now resting in peace, free of pain, in the arms of our Heavenly Father. His love, his laughter, and his faith will live on through all who knew him, and especially in his son.

We are now updating this GoFundMe to help cover the medical and end-of-life expenses from his difficult journey, and to support the future of the son he loved so deeply. All funds raised will go toward:

• Outstanding medical bills and care expenses

• Funeral and memorial services to honor Jimmy’s life and faith

• Support for his son’s future, as he grows up carrying the strength and spirit of his father
