Hello everyone,

My name is Madison Dumas, I am the niece of James Christopher Lee. With heavy hearts, our family is reaching out for help during a very difficult time.

On Wednesday, October 14, 2026, around 9pm, my uncle Jimmy was struck by an intoxicated driver in Eureka, California. Our family has been left heartbroken as he has suffered a catastrophic brain injury, 5 skull fractures, a broken shoulder, a broken clavicle, a fractured pelvis, and broken ribs. His carotid arteries are also no longer supplying blood to his brain, and he has been determined to be legally brain dead.

Our family is trying to process this tragedy while facing the difficult reality of making arrangements to honor him and say our goodbyes. We are asking for help to cover the costs of his cremation, funeral services, and related expenses. Our goal is to raise atleast $1,800 to help with these expenses and give our family some relief during this difficult time.
