On the 30th November my beloved brother Jake passed away suddenly.

Jake’s passing has left the community shaken and our family heartbroken, beyond words.

Our family are resting in knowing he's in a place of peace and steadiness now. In Gods arms.

A bit about Jake:

My brother Jake, was always the loudest and the funniest person in the room. He knew how to make people laugh.

Jake was such a family orientated person who loved all of his nephews and nieces immensely. I remember walking into the room seeing him play peek a boo, with baby Lily trying to pull at his big red beard. Most afternoons He'd take her for rides on the push bike, burning around the yard. Just like they're racing.

Really fond memories.

Jake loved his football and cricket and deeply cherished the moments with his friends and family.

Jake felt such a huge connection to his indigenous heritage and connection to the land.

If you see a black cockatoo, thats his totem.

He is such a proud father to his beautiful daughter Niyah and from the moment she was delivered into this world it set him ablaze. Its has been one of the most delightful experiences to watch him grow into fatherhood.

I wish we all had more time to grow together.

This fund has been created to support us (Jakes immediate family) in honouring his life by creating a beautiful service to rememeber him and have his body cremated in Mossman. (Country)
