In loving memory of Jacob Sheppard Hall. Unexpectedly, we all got the news of Jacob's passing. The Hall family is undergoing the loss of their beloved son. Among friends, family, and others we've decided to create a fundraiser to aide with funeral costs. All proceeds go directly to the Hall family.
About Jacob Hall:
Jacob was a 23 year old, rising star in the music scene. If not known for what a wonderful, loving person he was, there was a chance you've seen him ripping it up on stage with your favorite band. Jacob played music from a very young age, thriving from one of the best musical families on the Gulf Coast. Anyone that knows the Hall family, knows that they go well beyond just musical talent, they're one of the most loving families you would ever meet. Jacob was in multiple bands through the years, and it was easy to see he fell in love with music with his brother by his side. A lot of people would call them a "power duo", then throw their Dad in the mix, and it was something even more special. Mr. John Hall taught baby John and Jacob the musical ropes, but one instrument wasn't enough for Jacob. He was the type of guy that if something made noise, he would pick it up and make it talk. He had multiple roles in so many bands throughout the years, but his true love was always piano. He could sway you in a way and make you move without saying a word. Everything from western swing music, classical music, modern music, country, to blues. He truly did know it all. He won "Best Piano Player" of Mobile multiple years in a row including the "Bayfest Music Scholarship" two years in a row. He made his presence known all the way from Mobile, Alabama to Nashville, Tennessee. He took it to even further heights, and was well on his way to tour in Europe coming up in a few months. There will never be another Jacob Hall, he was one of the greatest musical talents Mobile will ever see. He was a great brother, a great friend, a great son, and much more. We will all miss him, but his music will live on forever. It won't be the same without him on stage on any given weekend with your favorite band, but he's left his mark on music and every venue on the Gulf Coast. We love you Jacob Hall. Thanks for sharing your gift with us all. Rest in Peace. I, Ryan Dyer, created this fundraiser to help the Hall family during this hard time. Jacob Hall was one of my closest friends, someone who was basically a brother to me. I hope that this money can help ease the stress the family is undergoing. The money raised from this fundraiser will go directly to the Hall family to aide with the cost of the memorial service, cremation service, as well as any bills or other needs for the family during this time. The funds will be presented to the Hall family in the form of a check.
