On Wednesday, my 18-year-old son, Itziar Ramirez, was tragically taken from us in a car accident. He was cheerful, silly, and full of life—the kind of young man whose laughter could lighten any room. Itziar had a driven passion to succeed and a future filled with promise. As we face the unimaginable pain of losing him, we are also faced with unexpected funeral and memorial expenses.
