Hello to everyone reading, my name is Gabriela Salazar, and I am Irma's first daughter. As many of you know, my mom passed away on May 16th, 2025. Many of you reading knew my mom and loved her during her lifetime, making her life full of tenderness and joy. My mom always told me that I was her rock, and as her rock, I want to make sure that she is taken care of and given lots of love as we say our final goodbyes.

My sister, Katalina and I agreed to have her cremated as she had previously told us some times before while she was healthy that she would want her remains cremated. I am a young woman of faith, and I would love for my mom to have her remains honored and commend her soul to God's mercy in a funeral Mass at my grandpa, Felipe's parish in Escondido.

It would mean so much if you could help take care of my mom this last time. My sister and I are hoping to raise at least $5,000 to help with cremation costs, the funeral Mass, a reception and possibly a scattering of ashes off of the Oceanside coast where she grew up.
