Irma Lopez Barahona, 56, of Santa Maria, CA, passed away on Monday, October 12, 2020 in Marian Regional Medical Center.


Irma was born in Morelia, Michoacán on October 30, 1963. She worked in agriculture and in retail, but stopped working to take care of her grandson Raiden who she loved dearly. She would volunteer at his school whenever they needed help. She was the first they would call and she would never hesitate to be there. She was a very upfront, joyous, and caring person. She would always assist those that needed help without nothing in return.


Irma is survived by her husband, Jose Barahona, son, Luis Barahona, daughter, Viane Macias-Barahona, grandchild, Raiden Paul Macias and son-in-law Paul Macias, who now have to take care of medical expenses and funeral costs. Unfortunately, Irma did not have health or life insurance. During this time of grief and uncertainty, we are asking for donations to cover medical bills and unforeseen expenses.
