In Loving Memory of Irelynn Skye Orr! ❤️

On April 16th, 2025 at 6:35 PM, the world lost a radiant light.

My beautiful niece, Irelynn Skye Orr—known as Lynn to those closest to her—left this world far too soon, the result of an unforeseen and tragic incident. She was only 18 years old.

Though her mama always called her by her full name, Irelynn, Lynn would softly insist on her middle name which she felt in her soul—Skye, like the endless heavens she now rests in. She was a free spirit with an old soul, fierce and gentle all at once, with a heart far too big for this world.

She leaves behind a heartbroken family: her mother and father, stepparents, four beloved siblings, grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and many dear friends who will forever feel her absence in the quiet moments and loudest laughs.

From the time she could talk, Lynn wanted to save the world—one person, one act of kindness at a time. She gave even when she had little, listened when others felt voiceless, and held space for those who hurt. And in the end, even in death, she gave the most sacred gift of all—life. As an organ donor, her final act of love saved multiple lives, just as she would have wished.

Our family is shattered. In the midst of this unimaginable grief, we are trying to honor her with the celebration of life she deserves. If you are able to give—whether through a donation, a prayer, or by simply sharing her story—we would be eternally grateful.
