Dear friends, neighbors, and community members,

It is with deep sadness that we share the passing of Igor Kovyk, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, stepfather, and friend. Igor was 61 years old and leaves behind his devoted wife, Yulia (47), and their son, Oleksii, who is 15 years old.

Igor and Yulia, along with Oleksii, immigrated to the United States from Ukraine 2016 to be closer to family—joining Igor’s daughters here in America. This past year, they achieved a major milestone: purchasing their first home together.

Tragically, Igor was recently hospitalized and required emergency abdominal surgery. His condition was complicated, and he spent a month in the ICU in critical care. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team Igor passed away on Friday July 18th due to cardiac arrest.

We are asking for your help to ease the financial pressure on this family during an unimaginable time. All funds raised will go directly to Yulia and Oleksii to help cover funeral costs, outstanding medical expenses, and basic living needs.

Igor was a kind, hardworking, and generous man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was both an assistant to the pastor as well as the director of the Sunday school. Igor spent his last days in the presence of his loving family and friends. Let’s now come together as a community to support the family he loved so deeply.

Дорогі друзі, знайомі і сусіди,

З велим болем ділимося з вами про смерть Ігора Ковика: люблячий чоловік, батько, дідусь, брат і друг. Йому лише 61р і він жив з його відданою дружиною Юлію -47р та їхнім сином Олексієм -15р.

Ігор, Юля і також Олексій іммігрували до США з України у 2016р, щоб бути ближче з Ігоровою дочкою тут в Америці. Цього року вони досягнули мети, купивши, свій перший будинок разом.

Дуже несподівано Ігор був госпіталізований і потребував невідкладної операції. Його стан був критично- важкий і він провів місяць у реанімації. Незважаючи на невтомні старання лікарів Ігор помер у лікарні -18 липня, 2025р, через зупинку серця.

Ця дуже раптова смерть залишила Юлю та Олексія не лише у скорботі, а й з великими боргами у звʼязку з похоронами, втратою годувальника сімʼї і також розходами та обслуговування житла. Ми просимо вашої допомоги зменшити фінансову нагрузку з плечей дружини протягом надзвичайно важкого часу для них.

Всі кошти підуть на підримку Юлі та Олексія.

Ігор був чудовим, щирим, відданим і дружнім трудівником на ниві Господній, став дуже близьким для всіх, з ким він спілкувався. Він був правою рукою пастора церкви, а також ніс служіння недільної школи у помісній церкві.

Тож давайте ми обʼєднаємося разом як родина Христова і допоможемо сімʼї, яку він дуже любив.
