Help Us Honour the Life of Ibukun Adeniyi, a Beautiful 6-Year-Old Soul
It is with broken hearts that we share the devastating news that our beloved Ibukun Adeniyi, only six years old, was found yesterday after being missing for hours. His body was recovered after a long and painful search that gripped our community and united many in prayer, hope, and determination.
Ibukun was a joyful, bright, and deeply loved little boy whose smile lit up every room he entered. His name, Ibukun, means blessing — and that’s exactly what he was to his family, his friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. His laughter was contagious, his curiosity boundless, and his heart pure.
No parent should ever have to go through what Ibukun’s family is facing right now — the unimaginable grief of losing a child. As they try to cope with this tragic loss, we are reaching out to ask for your love and support.
All funds raised will go directly to the Adeniyi family to assist with:
• Funeral and memorial costs to lay Ibukun to rest with dignity and love
• Counseling and emotional support for the family, especially his parents and siblings
• Time away from work and daily responsibilities to grieve and begin healing
Please consider donating any amount you can. Even the smallest gift will help ease the financial burden on the family as they walk through this sorrowful time. If you’re unable to give, we ask that you share this message and keep the Adeniyi family in your thoughts and prayers.
Let us come together to honour Ibukun’s memory, comfort his grieving loved ones, and show that even in the face of darkness, we stand together in love and light.
Thank you.
With heavy hearts,
