Querida familia y amigos:
Con el corazón lleno de dolor y tristeza, quiero compartir con ustedes que mi hermana Ibet, de tan solo 21 años, perdió la batalla contra el lupus el 10 de septiembre de 2025. A pesar de su corta edad, Ibet fue una verdadera guerrera del lupus. Desde que fue diagnosticada, enfrentó y luchó incansablemente contra la enfermedad, enfrentando cada desafío con una fe y valentía admirables. A pesar de las dificultades y el dolor, nunca perdió su sonrisa ni su esperanza.
Ella fue una hija ejemplar, una hermana incondicional, una tía amorosa, y una amiga que supo dar sin medida. Siempre presente, siempre dispuesta a brindar amor, alegría y apoyo a quienes la rodeaban. Su nobleza, su bondad y su espíritu generoso dejaron huellas imborrables en todos nuestros corazones.
Lo más doloroso de todo esto es que Ibet no es la única hermana que hemos perdido. Hace solo dos años, también perdimos a nuestra hermana Jackie. Perder a dos hermanas en tan poco tiempo, ambas tan jóvenes, ha sido devastador para nuestra familia. Cada día es un desafío, y el vacío que han dejado es profundo y difícil de llenar. Aunque intentamos seguir adelante, las heridas emocionales y las dificultades nos han golpeado fuertemente. Es por eso que, en este momento tan doloroso, necesitamos más que nunca de su apoyo.
Por esta razón, y con todo mi amor y humildad, estoy creando este fondo para ayudar con los gastos del funeral de Ibet y para aliviar algunas de las cargas de mis padres. Cualquier apoyo que puedan ofrecernos, ya sea con una donación, sus pensamientos o sus oraciones, hará una gran diferencia en nuestra capacidad para sanar.
De todo corazón, agradezco cada palabra, cada muestra de cariño y cada momento que han dedicado a nosotros. La generosidad de tantos de ustedes ha sido fundamental en este proceso de duelo, y no tenemos palabras suficientes para expresar nuestra gratitud.

With hearts full of pain and sorrow, we want to share with you that our beloved sister Ibet, only 21 years old, lost her battle with lupus on September 10, 2025. Despite her young age, Ibet was a true lupus warrior. From the moment she was diagnosed, she faced and fought the disease with unwavering strength, meeting every challenge with admirable faith and courage. Even through the hardest days, she never lost her smile or her hope.
She was a devoted daughter, a loyal sister, a loving aunt, and a friend who gave endlessly without expecting anything in return. Always present, always ready to offer love, joy, and support to those around her. Her kindness, generosity, and beautiful spirit left an unforgettable mark on all of our hearts.
What makes this even more painful is that Ibet is not the only sister we’ve lost. Just two years ago, we also lost our sister Jackie. Losing two sisters in such a short time—both so young—has been devastating for our family. Every day is a challenge, and the void they’ve left is deep and difficult to fill. While we try to carry on, the emotional wounds and hardships have weighed heavily on us. That’s why, now more than ever, we need your support.
With all our love and humility, we are creating this fund to help cover Ibet’s funeral expenses and to ease some of the financial burden on our parents.
