UPDATE:  Your contribution will help the family with medical costs, burial expenses, the purchase of a memorial plaque for the mausoleum and to offset immediate family members international travel expenses to be here with the family at this time.

Ian Ramirez-Rivera, a bright and kind-hearted sophomore at Hayfield High School, passed away unexpectedly at the age of 15 due to complications from an existing condition. Ian attended Saint Louis Catholic School in Alexandria, Virginia, from kindergarten to eighth grade and was loved by his friends, family, and everyone who knew him.

He was an enthusiastic pitcher for Woodlawn Little League, beginning in the minors all the way through juniors division. He enjoyed playing basketball in middle school, and had a real passion for coding and electronics. Ian recently built his own computer and was very involved in gaming, often competing in tournaments and organizing gaming nights with friends. He also loved movies and would organize groups of friends to attend every new movie release of interest. He was quick to help his friends and enjoyed traveling with his parents, including trips to the Dominican Republic, a cruise and visiting family in Spain.

Ian’s smile and easygoing nature were a blessing to all who knew and loved him.
