In Loving Memory of Ian Davis Huntress
Donation protected
Ian was an inquisitive, brilliant young man who loved online gaming, cooking and baking, reading, and woodworking. Ian adored his wife Leah whom he met at RPI while studying Bioinformatics and Molecular Biology. He was currently working at Dr. Xenia Peng's lab while working towards a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics at North Carolina State University.
Ian had a condition called autoimmune hepatitis which caused him to need a liver transplant in January. He was affected by Post-Transplant Lymphoproliferative Disease and unfortunately passed away on March 26, 2023, at 27 years old.
As friends and family, we want to do everything we can to help ease their burden during this difficult time. Please consider making a contribution to support Leah with Funeral costs, medical expenses and continuing Ian's legacy. We thank you for your generosity in supporting his beautiful family as they walk through their grief and devastating loss. With your donation, please include a short funny memory you have of Ian.
Ian's visiting hours will be Friday, April 7, 2023, from 3:00 - 7:00 PM in the Waring-Sullivan Home at Birchcrest, 189 Gardners Neck Road in Swansea, MA. The obituary can be found at: https://www.dignitymemorial.com/obituaries/swansea-ma/ian-huntress-11229740
