Friends and Family, today I received the tragic news of the passing of one of my dearest friend, Huy Mai. He, as with many in this year and last, has succumbed to the deadly Coronavirus disease. I was informed by his best friend this morning that Huy did not survive his battle in the ICU at Corpus Christi Medical Center.

He was the kindest, most genuine, and had the most purest soul of anyone I've ever met. He had very strong work ethics, strong values in his beliefs, provider, a loving father and husband. And now the relentless covid-19 disease has quickly and unapologetically taken him from us. He battled the virus at the hospital over a month, even through his birthday, and showed signs of making progress as the weeks went by, but in the end, he lost the battle and now his friends and family are left brokenhearted. He fought and fought, until the very end. Please keep Huy and his family in your prayers during this difficult time.

Huy leaves behind 2 beautiful children, Donivin and Stella, and his loving wife Hanna (Hanh). I would like to invite friends, family, coworkers, and anyone else that knows Huy to help support his family during these difficult times. Any donation of any amount would be a blessing, and it will help cover funeral costs, with the remainder being intended to help with unexpected medical bills or even a savings account for both of Huy's children. 100% of the donations will go directly to his wife and she will have complete discretion on how it will be used.
