In Loving Memory of Hugo Fung
Donation protected
It is with heavy hearts that we share the unexpected passing of our beloved friend, Hugo Fung, on April 15th, 2025. His sudden departure has left an unimaginable void in the lives of those who love him dearly.
Hugo was a kind, thoughtful, and deeply loved individual who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He was always the first to gather others to join him in activities and adventures like fishing, hiking, and volleyball. Anyone who knew Hugo also knew how much he loved Dragon Ball. Like Goku, Hugo faced life's challenges head-on, with strength, kindness, and a heart full of love. He lit up every room with energy like a Kamehameha blast - powerful and uplifting.
We're setting up this page as a place where we can come together to support Hugo's family during this difficult time. All funds raised will go directly towards helping Hugo's family with the unexpected funeral expenses and related costs. Any contribution, big or small, will go a long way to helping ease the financial burden on Hugo's loved ones as they navigate this next week. Please feel free to leave some words of support, a favorite memory, or a note for the family along with your donation.
Thank you all for your love and support. Hugo will always be remembered, and his spirit will forever live on in our hearts - let's help celebrate the life of someone who brought big smiles and laughter to so many around him. The visitation is on Monday April 21st from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Highland Funeral Home - Markham Chapel. The Funeral Mass will be held at Epiphany of Our Lord Parish on Tuesday April 22nd at 11:00am to 12:00pm noon. https://www.arbormemorial.ca/en/highland-markham/obituaries/hugo-fung-2025/140367.html
