Howard Marquez Garcia entered into heavenly eternal rest on September 30, 2022 at the age of 34.

Howard is survived by his parents, Dominador and Elmira Garcia, maternal grandmother Monica Marquez, siblings Edgar (Chelsea) and Maria Magdalena, nephew Julius Xavier Garcia, niece Xenalei Rose Garcia as well as numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jose and Petra Garcia, maternal grandfather, Jose Marquez and his beloved aunt, Maria Garcia Foronda.

Howard was born on November 26, 1987 in Natba of Ilocos Norte in the Philippines. He immigrated to California with his family in the early nineties and attended Milpitas public schools. He was very active in all sports and loved competing, especially in basketball and football.

Upon graduating from Milpitas High School in 2007, Howard began working with Costco in Fremont, CA. He started off as a retail associate and throughout his 15-year career he advanced to store management. While there, he was well respected and admired by all his colleagues.

Howard had many interests, but chief among them were his passion for SF Bay Area sports, concerts, travel and his sizeable collection of sneakers. Quite often, weekends were filled at family gatherings rooting for his hometown teams, the San Francisco 49ers or the Golden State Warriors.

Those who knew him will sorely miss his endearing personality, infectious smile, humor and his overall energy to love and be loved.

This is not a “good-bye”, but instead, a “till we see you again”, our beloved Howard. Soar high our angel!
