On the early morning of September 27th, we lost our beloved father Hector Sanchez due to stage 4 mesothelioma lung cancer. Hector was a loving grandfather, a patient and gentle husband, a brother you could count on, a kind and thoughtful father who loved his family dearly and so much more than words can express.


We are reaching out for assistance to help with the financial hardship of his unexpected passing and the cost of his funeral. Thank you sincerely from our family to yours for sharing and any donations in our time of need. Everything helps and is greatly appreciated.

We all wish we could spend just another day, another family gathering, or just a moment of time to embrace the loyal Padres fan we all enjoyed being around.


Hector retired from Nassco after 30 years. He was an avid fisherman with a love for the deep sea and had favorite spots down south in Mexico and here in San Diego. He would often attend mass at Corpus Christi Parish. Some of his hobbies included playing billiards pool at the Norman Park Senior Center with his friends and having a good dinner and playing some slot machines at the casinos with his wife.
