In loving memory of Heather Anne Haugstad

Donation protected
It is with deep sadness that I write this. On Saturday, July 9th, 2022, Heather Haugstad passed away suddenly after going into cardiac arrest while in the ER with Covid complications. Heather left us at the young age of 46, which is simply hard to understand. Her passing is a shock to her wife, family, and friends. I know that anyone who had the pleasure of knowing Heather would describe her as one of the most gentle, generous, compassionate, give you the shirt off her back kind of gal. I loved her, and she was my best friend. Heather's love for her wife Jessi is a love that I have rarely witnessed between two people. Her younger sister Jesse was the light in her life. The support she gave to her family and friends was unmeasurable. She was the best Auntie to Harlow, Tannin, Harper, Hayden, Aiden, and Lucus. Her pups, Olive, Chloe, and Lola, were cared for like babies. She missed Mr. Paikea and Charlie daily, who were gone before her. Walter, the cat, was a favorite new addition. She loved her craft of videography which blossomed into a successful business. Her passion for her work is where she showcased her talents and most importantly, built strong community relationships. Jessi and Heather had just purchased their first home, and Heather was very proud of this accomplishment.

The best way for us to honor Heather and the beautiful life that she has built would be to donate to this Go Fund Me page. This fund will pay for all of the unexpected expenses that follow in the wake of her loss and go directly to her wife Jessi. As you can imagine, the burden weighs heavily during the deepest pain one could go through.

Another way to honor Heather would be to turn on a Beatles song and sing along, smile at a stranger passing by, treat everyone with kindness and love, snuggle your pets, enjoy a margarita with no salt, spend some time outdoors, and most of all hug your loved ones tight.

I love you all, and thank you for considering a donation to this beautiful woman and soul.

To my dearest friend Heather....I will miss you every day, and you will never be forgotten. My heart is shattered into a million little pieces.
