In Loving Memory of Hawa

We are deeply heartbroken to share the loss of our beloved sister Hawa, whose life was tragically cut short. She leaves behind her loving mother, sister, brother, and niece, who are devastated by her sudden passing.

About a year ago, Hawa returned home to Texas to care for our mother as she prepared for a total knee replacement. She selflessly put her plans on hold to make sure our mother had the support and love she needed during her recovery—all while studying and preparing for her MCAT as she pursued her dream of attending medical school.

Our mother is now facing the unimaginable pain of losing her youngest child. After dedicating so much of her strength to healing and rebuilding, this loss has deeply affected her emotionally, physically, and mentally.

We are asking for your kindness and support to help ease the burden on our mother as she grieves and navigates this incredibly difficult time. Any contribution, no matter the size, will help bring comfort and stability to our family as we honor Hawa’s memory.

Hawa was known for her compassion, ambition, and the way she inspired everyone around her. Your love and generosity will help us carry forward her spirit of care and resilience.
