To Allah we belong, and to Him we shall return.” (Qur’an 2:156)
It is with a heavy heart that we share the passing of our beloved brother, Harees Mahmood, who returned to his Creator on Sunday 15th June 2025, at just 28 years old. His loss has left a deep emptiness in our hearts that words cannot express.
Harees was a warm, kind, and sincere soul. He left a mark on the hearts of all who knew him, and he will be deeply missed every single day. Though he faced struggles in his past, what truly defined him was the strength, humility, and courage he showed in turning his life around.
In the final year of his life, Harees made a beautiful and conscious change. He turned his focus fully towards his deen ,praying five times a day, working on his character, and striving to live a life that pleased his Creator. He was fully committed to becoming the best version of himself for the sake of Allah and his Hereafter.
None of us are without faults, and if Harees ever hurt anyone, knowingly or unknowingly, we kindly ask for your forgiveness. May it be a means of ease for him and reward for you in the hereafter.
To honour his memory, we are raising funds for Sadaqah Jariyah — ongoing charity projects in his name that will benefit him in the Hereafter. All donations will go towards meaningful causes such as building places of worship, providing clean water, education, and other essential support to those in need, insha’Allah.
Every penny donated will be a source of ongoing reward for Harees and a light in his grave, insha’Allah. However much or little you can give, it will go a long way. Your donation, your dua, and even sharing this page can make a difference.
Please keep Harees in your duas. May Allah forgive his shortcomings, shower him with endless mercy, and grant him the highest rank in Jannat al-Firdaus
This fundraiser has been set up by his family, who are grateful for your support, prayers, and kindness during this difficult time.
Jazakallah
