In Loving Memory of Haley Rose Londry

Donation protected
On September 8th our dear friend Haley passed away. Haley was a daughter, fiancé, granddaughter, cousin, niece, friend and one hell of a fighter. She followed her passion to travel and became a flight attendant for American Airlines, which gave her the opportunity to see the world. Haley had the purest soul, an infectious energy, and a true calling to help others. Whether she was volunteering her time with ENN (Exceptional Needs Network), encouraging people to register for Be The Match or just simply raising awareness for causes that she held near and dear to her heart. She loved her family and friends fiercely and truly lived life to the fullest.

Haley had a GATA2 deficiency, a rare genetic condition, and the culprit to her AML (Acute Myeloid Leukemia). She received the AML diagnosis back in November of 2020 and ultimately the need for a bone marrow transplant. The NIH (National Institute of Health) took on Haley’s case and on February 2nd 2021, Haley and Austin flew out to Maryland to get what she called “some fancy new stem cells”. Through the Be the Match program they were able to find a generous donor who was a 10/10 match for Haley.

On April 29th Haley received those fancy new stem cells and shortly after Haley popped the question to Austin and got a fancy new fiancé as well.

August 7th 2021 marked 100 days post-transplant, a huge victory, she updated her Team Haley Love Londry Facebook page saying “10 months of treatment. 6 months at the NIH. 4 ICU trips. 2 intubations, and 1 person that’s been here through it all with me.” Austin never left her side, and they shared the most precious love for each other. We cannot thank Austin enough for being by her side through it all.

During the following weeks, Haley’s transplant was 100% grafted, she no longer showed signs of Leukemia and she was doing everything in her power to regain strength. Haley was in high spirits and making plans to come home.

September 8th, after a long, courageous and fierce fight, Haley’s body had been through more than her heart could bear…

We share Haley’s story to bring awareness. If you are unable to donate or would like to help in additional ways, Haley’s wishes were to please consider registering for the Be The Match program.

Haley continues to this day to help others with the research she was able to be a part of at her time at the NIH. Much like her dad, Chad, she never let her diagnosis be her prognosis. She was a warrior, an inspiration and radiated love and positivity through her entire journey.

We are creating this fund for her loving and supportive mother, Lisa, and the love of her life and fiancé, Austin, in hopes to help with a celebration of Haley’s life, permanent memorial in her home town and any additional costs that may come up.

Haley is loved more than words can explain and she will be deeply missed.

Thank you in advance for your generosity and well wishes.
