In Loving Memory of Gugu Lyndsey Lobati

Dear Friends and family,

It is with broken hearts that I share the news of the sudden and untimely passing of my Aunty Gugu Lyndsey Lobati, a deeply loved mother, daughter, sister, friend, and shining light in our community.

Gugu’s sudden departure has not only left a deep void in the lives of all who knew her but especially in the life of her 16-year-old son.

It has also raised many questions as to what has actually transpired. This is currently being investigated and whilst we navigate this uncertainty and financial struggle we humbly ask for your support in donations towards her burial.

Gugu was a beacon of light. The most generous and kindest person you would have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Friend, family or stranger she was always willing to help people whenever they needed.

Whether it was supporting them emotionally during a difficult time, or paying for their bills and shopping, she would never hesitate to give a piece of herself in a heartbeat.

There was nothing too big or small in her capacity for giving and making others happy.

Gugu was a devoted mother who worked tirelessly to give her son the best life possible. She poured her love, energy, and hope into raising a respectful, intelligent young man with dreams of completing school and building a bright future. He is now facing that future without the person who loved and protected him the most.

This fundraiser is being set up to honour Gugu’s memory by providing her a decent funeral for all the people whose lives she touched so dearly.

As we try to navigate and get an understanding of how this sudden passing came to be, please help us in laying her to rest.
