Hello, beloved friends and family of Griffin's vast, loving community.

There are no words to describe the pain and grief the loss of our brother, protector, companion, and dear friend has caused to so many. Griffin was genuinely one of a kind. His kind, empathetic, and caring soul was a gift to anyone who was blessed enough to spend time with him. He was only twenty years old. Griffin was the type to stop and chat with a stranger who looked like they were having a hard day, spend hours saving a trapped baby bird, and join in on the celebration of anyone he could. A true community builder, his deep kindness and empathy made him the first call for so many of us to share our big wins and find refuge in hard times. Knowing him was the biggest blessing. Our lives will truly never be the same without him. This is truly an unfathomable loss.

Griffin was the only child of his loving and devoted single mother, Sarah, and their deep, unwavering love for each other has always been clear as day. Sarah has spent her life pouring into her only son and shaping him into the incredible, uniquely kind man he is. Nobody can fathom the pain of a mother suddenly losing her only child; this is every mother and father's worst nightmare.

Proceeds from this fundraiser will go directly to Griffin's family. Any remaining funds will go towards Sarah to allow her much-needed time to grieve the heart-shattering loss of her only son without financial burden.
