Our beautiful, beloved, mother, Graciela Carranza passed away, Sunday, August 30th, 2020 after a 5+ week battle with COVID-19 and pneumonia.  So it is with a heavy heart that we make this cry for help for her funeral expenses so that she made be laid to rest with our father, Jose "Joe" Carranza who passed away almost 10 years ago, who was her first love and whom she has missed every day since.  With both our parents gone, our hearts are broken beyond comprehension.  

Our mom was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, grandmother, friend to so many over the years.  Her beautiful light will be missed each day.  She dedicated her life to her family and all of us loved her more than words can express.  She was our lifeline when our father passed away and we have no idea how will will make it without the both of them.  They were both bubbly, happy, kind, giving and loving people who made this earth a better place not just for our family but in every person they knew and every person that they met.  While we are relieved that she no longer suffers our grief is immeasurable.  

Since our father passed away, her budget has been tight and there was never extra to plan for this terrible day.  We all did our part to make sure she had a home to live in, food to eat, and the medicine she needed but there was never extra to plan for the future.   We always thought we'd have more time, but this virus which has claimed so many doesn't care about whether families are prepared for the unexpected.  

We realize that offering financial support to our family during these uncertain times may be difficult for some.  Please know that any amount is appreciated tremendously as we work to raise what is necessary to give our mom a proper burial with our father.  We thank you from the bottom or our hearts for any help and if you cannot help monetarily, your thoughts and prayers are also appreciated.
