It is with profound sadness that we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Gireesha Jeera, aged 45, who passed away in his sleep due to cardiac arrest on the night of 5th August 2025 at his home in Milton Keynes, United Kingdom.

Gireesha, affectionately known as Gireesh or Giri to his friends and loved ones, was a man of immense warmth, integrity, and generosity. He was the sole breadwinner for his family and leaves behind his devoted wife, Shobha Rani, and two young children—son Jeevan Jeera (16) and daughter Abhi (13).

Originally from Holagunda, a village in Kurnool District, Andhra Pradesh, India, Gireesha immigrated to the UK in 2014 in pursuit of a better life for his family. Over the years, he built a life rooted in love, hard work, and service to others. He was known for his ever-present smile, his kind heart, and his unwavering commitment to helping those in need. Whether through community service or charity work, Gireesha touched countless lives with his compassion and modesty.

His sudden passing has left his family not only devastated emotionally but also facing significant financial challenges. In this time of grief, we are reaching out to friends, family, and the wider community to help support the following urgent needs:

Funeral arrangements in the UK to honor Gireesha’s life with dignity

Repatriation of his body to India, so he may be laid to rest in his homeland, surrounded by extended family and loved ones
