With heavy hearts, we share the passing of our beloved father, Gilberto Valencia. After a courageous and relentless battle with cancer, he peacefully left this world, leaving behind a legacy of love, strength, and resilience.

My father was first diagnosed with colon cancer in 2015. Through sheer determination and an unwavering spirit, he overcame it, allowing us to cherish more precious years with him. He slowly regained his strength, returning to the life he loved and the family he held so dear. But in 2022, the cancer returned. Despite the pain and hardships, he never wavered in his role as a loving father, always putting his family first and keeping a smile on his face, no matter how difficult the journey became.

He was more than just a fighter, he was our guiding light, a source of warmth, wisdom, and endless love. His laughter was infectious, his kindness immeasurable, and his presence irreplaceable. He taught me the true value of life, to cherish every moment, and to embrace love in all its forms. His memory will forever live in our hearts, and his strength will continue to inspire us every single day.
