In Loving Memory of Gianna Pitts

As we grieve the sudden, unexpected loss of Gianna Pitts, many of you have asked how you can help Kellie (her mom) and her family. 

Those who know Kellie are aware that she dedicated her life to Gianna’s care.  She quit her job several years ago to stay at home with Gianna as her full-time caregiver and raised Gianna as a single mother.

With Gianna’s passing, Kellie faces significant changes and challenges in the coming days and months.  She must figure out how to provide a proper burial and services for her most precious daughter, the cost of which can easily approach tens of thousands of dollars, all while continuing to receive and pay large numbers of Gianna’s medical bills. 

She must also figure out what her future looks like:  After giving up her career nearly a decade ago to care for Gianna, she must now find a way to support herself financially, all while grieving the loss of her child.
