It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Gerardo Acosta, who left us on 12/20/2025. He was deeply loved by family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Gerardo was known for his incredibly kind heart that he shared with his children, grandkids, and his life partner, Rocio. He was the kind of person that made you feel safe and nurtured. His gentle nature was magnetic. If you were a Cowboys fan, you were an instant friend. A natural jokester at heart, his charming smile was memorable. He was one of a kind, irreplaceable. He will be deeply missed—more than words can express.

We set up this GoFundMe to allow those close and far to send their love and condolences. Any contribution—no matter the amount—will go directly toward easing the financial burden on Gerardo’s family as they grieve and make arrangements.
