The last thing I ever wanted to be doing is writing this — but as a family, we need to ask for help.

On 09/10/25, our much-loved Dad, Garry Page, sadly suffered a fatal heart attack. His passing has left us heartbroken and lost. As we try to come to terms with this devastating loss, we have also discovered that there is no life insurance, only his wishes for how he wanted things to be.

Garry was a man with the biggest heart. He would give his last pound to help someone in need without a second thought. He was the type of person who would always be there to lend a hand, share a laugh, or offer a word of encouragement. Garry was deeply involved in his community and loved to fundraise, especially when it came to supporting Torbay Armed Forces Day, along with other charity events, something he took great pride in helping with year after year.

Outside of his generosity, Garry had many passions. He was always a massive Aston Villa supporter and when they scored a goal, you’d know! He was a proud Rover P4 enthusiast — he loved classic cars and the friendships and memories that came with that community. But above everything else, Garry was a family man through and through. He was a loving Husband, Dad, and Grandad (GG) and he absolutely adored his Granddaughter — she was his world.

We want nothing more than to give Garry the send-off he truly deserves, one that reflects the love, kindness, and laughter he brought into so many lives. Unfortunately, as a family, we simply cannot fund it all on our own. It’s not easy for us to ask for help, but we’ve realised it’s the only way we can make sure Garry’s final wishes are honoured properly.
