On August 18, 2026, our family’s world changed forever when Gabby’s life was tragically taken by her husband. She was only 30 years old.

Gabby was so much more than the circumstances of her death. She was a deeply loved daughter, sister, family member, god mother, and friend whose presence touched countless lives. Her loss has left an immeasurable space in the hearts of everyone who knew and loved her.

Gabby dedicated her life to caring for others. As a nurse, she was compassionate, hardworking, and known for going the extra mile to make sure her patients felt seen, cared for, and supported. She was continuing that commitment to service through her education, pursuing her Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with dreams of completing the program and one day opening a practice of her own. At just 30 years old, Gabby had already accomplished so much, with so much more life, love, and purpose still ahead of her.

Our family is now navigating the unimaginable grief of losing Gabby so suddenly while also facing the significant expenses required to bring her home and honor her life.

We plan to hold a service in upstate New York, where Gabby was raised, formed lifelong relationships, and built a community that loved her dearly. Following that service, Gabby will be transported to Georgia, where a second ceremony and burial will allow her to be laid to rest near her family.

The cost of transporting Gabby across states, along with funeral, burial, memorial, and related expenses, is substantial. We are asking for the support of our family, friends, community, and anyone whose heart is moved by Gabby’s story.

Every contribution, no matter the amount, will help lift some of this burden from her family and give us the space to focus on what matters most right now: honoring Gabby surrounding one another with love, and saying goodbye to a woman who should have had so many more years ahead of her.
