Hi my name is Sonia Pereira, and I'm starting this fundraiser on behalf of my good friend Lucy Blondel.

On the afternoon of Sunday, June 23rd, Freddy Blondel was on his way to surprise Lucy at the track when his motorcycle was hit by an oncoming car that failed to yield. He was killed instantly.

Lucy is going to need all of the support she can get over the next few months - first as she grieves, and then as she starts to process losing the love of her life.

This money is meant to relieve any financial stress during that time and go towards things like food, funeral expenses, and any bills incurred by her not working.

It is with the most devastation I have ever felt in my life and heart that I give this news.

The love of my life, my person, my Freddy was involved in a fatal motorcycle accident in Washington on June 23rd at 2.21pm.

He was the most genuine, kind, sweet, charismatic, selfless goofball you could ever meet. He was my adventure buddy and riding partner, he let me be who I was with no judgement.

We finally had our lives together, buying our dream house and making plans for the future. We celebrated our wedding anniversary on Friday of 2 years from our most incredible Italian wedding.

He was my biggest supporter and my number one fan. He loved his family and friends so deeply and would do anything for anyone ❤️

Everyone from his hairdresser to his high up bosses in the police had love for him, he was quite simply a stellar human being and led with kindness and positivity in any situation.

I will never find another Freddy.

We will be making funeral arrangements and will update everyone on what those will be as soon as we know.

I can't thank everyone for the hundreds of messages I've received, it means the absolute world to me all the love and support and I'm slowly trying to reply to all, thank you so much xo
