To know Frankie was to love him.
On October 31st, Frankie went missing in Sacramento following a night of fun for Halloween. On November 1st, our worst nightmare became a reality when he was found deceased at just 21 years old. With the evidence shown by detectives we strongly believe this was nothing more than a tragic accident. His sudden passing has left his family, girlfriend, friends, and everyone who loved him heartbroken.
Frankie was so much more than this tragic passing. He was a beloved son, big brother of 4 boys, grandson, nephew, big cousin, boyfriend, friend, coworker, and student. He was patient, kind, funny, reliable, caring, and hardworking. He was someone you could count on, someone who made the people around him laugh, and someone who cared deeply about those he loved.
Frankie enjoyed the simple things in life. He loved animals, video games, music, and spending time with his girlfriend, family, and friends. He also enjoyed his job at In-N-Out, where he was a hardworking and valued member of the team.
At just 21, Frankie was working toward a future he was excited about. He attended Sacramento State and dreamed of becoming a veterinarian because he loved animals. He was focused on his education, his work, and building a life for himself. He found happiness in the people he loved, the things he enjoyed, and the goals he was working toward. Frankie deserves to be remembered for the person he was, the love he gave, and the life he was building.
Frankie had dreams he was working toward, people who loved him, and so many memories left to make. We never imagined we would be planning his funeral instead of watching him accomplish everything he had worked so hard for.
Frankie's family lives in San Diego, and we are now faced with the heartbreaking task of bringing him home and laying him to rest. We are raising funds to help cover the cost of transporting his body from Sacramento to San Diego, funeral and memorial expenses. All donations will go directly to his family to help with these costs.
No family should have to worry about how they will afford to lay someone they love to rest while trying to process such an unexpected loss. Any donation, no matter how small, would mean so much. If you can't donate, please share this fundraiser.
Thank you to everyone who helped search for Frankie, reached out, and continues to support his family and loved ones. Your kindness and support have meant more than words can express. Frankie deserved so much more time. We will forever carry his love, laughter, and memory with us. Thank you for helping us bring him home and give him the goodbye he deserves
