On Wednesday Jan 28th, my great Uncle- Frank Garcia, passed suddenly due to heart failure at 58 years young. Sadly, he never got to see a diagnosis as he was a ticking time bomb. His heart was enlarged and he had both an 80% and a 98% blockage. His passing came as a shock to all of us.

Some Background
Frank was a maintenance employee for an apartment complex. He was a lover of music, He was the bandleader in his band- Radical Dream,- with his brother and guitarist Rick, drummer Luke Snyder, Bassist Eric Claxton, and singer Tim Stover. They played the local music circuit for several years and even recorded a CD. Frank was a great songwriter, writing most of their music and lyrics. He also knew how to play drums and bass guitar. Music was his life. He, along with Brother Rick, taught their nephew Luis Morales how to play guitar. He’s the reason so many have pursued their own love of music. His other hobby included working on cars. Family was the most important thing to him.

This man was truly a light in our family. He was someone you always looked forward to seeing, someone who greeted you with the warmest welcome, someone who listened, someone who never judged because he made his own mistakes when he was young and he’d never look at you differently. He was always there for everyone and never failed to ask what he could do for you.

Our family has endured a crazy amount of loss over the last couple of years, and my grandmother who is the matriarch of our family & her brother’s next of kin, has taken every loss upon herself to fix- as to not burden anyone else. Unfortunately this time, she cannot manage it on her own without help. My Uncle Frank had no life insurance policy, nothing to show for the hard work he had put in in his life. This is why we are asking for help. By the day before his funeral, we would need $6570. The rest would be due following the service and burial process- if any remains, it will be put towards a headstone.

Thank you so much for donating, sharing, & reading about my great Uncle Frank. Prayers are welcomed, God knows our family needs them.
