In loving memory of Frank Cuevas Centino ️
Donation protected
On August 19, 2023, we lost a beloved father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend, Frank Cuevas Centino.
Frank's journey took an unexpected turn during his prison sentence in Norco, California. In July 2023, he began experiencing a sore throat and difficulty swallowing. Despite seeking medical attention, his condition rapidly deteriorated, and he was diagnosed with necrotizing fasciitis, also known as flesh-eating disease.
Frank's battle against this life-threatening infection was an uphill struggle. The infection spread from his throat to his lungs, neck, and chest, even reaching his bloodstream. The medical team at Riverside Hospital fought tirelessly, performing multiple surgeries, blood transfusions, and removing affected tissues.
Tragically, despite their efforts, Frank's condition worsened, and he was placed on life support. The doctors delivered the heart-wrenching news that Frank's chances of recovery were slim, and his quality of life would be forever altered.
On August 19, 2023, surrounded by his two eldest daughters and eldest grandson, Frank passed away at 56 years old. His strength, resilience, and impact on those around him will always be remembered. Frank leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of love that touched many lives.
We, his family, are seeking support during this difficult time. We humbly ask for donations to help cover the expenses for Frank's funeral, memorial, and celebration of life. Additionally, we need assistance with the costs of transporting his body from Riverside, California to Lompoc, California.
Your contributions will help us honor Frank's memory and give him the farewell he deserves. Your kindness and generosity will help ease the financial burden on our family as we come together to remember and celebrate the life of a remarkable man. Every donation, no matter the size, is deeply appreciated. Let's join hands in honoring Frank Cuevas Centino and ensuring that his legacy lives on.
