Hi guys my name is Hoz and I am a family friend and an uncle of sorts to Finn. He was found by his father on Saturday the 15th of October to have passed away at his desk.
Finn had suffered for many years from multiple sclerosis and epilepsy. The family don’t have any more information on what the cause of death at this time, but he was only 25 years old and had a full life ahead of him to enjoy experience and share.
The family have had an outpouring of love affection and messages from a multitude of friends new and old and this has given a lot of strength to them, and they really appreciate all who have made the effort to reach out message, phone and or comment on social media to the grief that they are suffering.
A few of Derek’s friends and family have offered to help pay for the Funeral services and to make sure that his send-off is befitting of his life. One friend was generous enough to say that he wants to pay for the whole thing on his own, but on reflection Finn’s family have decided to not accept that generous offer and instead start up a GoFundMe for the services.
The number of people that that want help and show their support to the family at this time has humbled the family as they realise how much Finn has meant to them and how much they think of the family themselves. The family feel this would be a good way for anyone that can and who can afford it to donate anything they can towards the costs of the Funeral services.
Any money that is left over from the Funeral services will be used to create a memorial in Finn’s memory. The family would like it to be said that they understand that we are living in incredibly hard economic times and the cost of funerals is not cheap especially when it is so sudden, so please do not contribute or donate if you cannot afford it and are struggling in your own life. I don’t know the date of the funeral just yet as soon as I do know I will inform you all. I can definitively say that the funeral will take place in Milton Keynes, and it will be at least two weeks from the current date (17/10/2022).
