It is with heavy hearts that we share the devastating loss of Finau Jurgensen, who passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on August 11th. A beloved mother, wife and friend, she was only 56 years old.
Finau was a native Fijian and extremely proud of her heritage. She was also a devout Christian. She read the Bible every day and would often quote passages reminding those around her of God's eternal grace and love. She supported her family for many years as a caretaker for the elderly. After her husband was diagnosed with an aggressive form of brain cancer and forced to retire early, she worked tirelessly and was often away from her family for 4 or 5 days a week.
Finau was a kind, selfless and hardworking woman who loved her family deeply. Her passing has left them utterly heartbroken. Please consider helping her loved ones through this difficult time as they navigate this tragedy and move forward.
