My name is Zainab and I'm currently raising funds in memory of my dear sister and friend, Fatima Doumbouya. Fatima passed away suddenly of a stroke on 20/12/2024 leaving a void in the hearts of those who loved her.

Though we miss her dearly, we accept that she has returned to Allah (SWT), her Lord who loves her best.

Fatima cared deeply for others and tried her best during her short time on this earth. She will always be remembered for her bright smile and soft heart.

To honour her memory, I am raising funds to build a water well in her name in Sierra Leone as a sadaqa jaariyah (continuous charity). The intention is that she is rewarded for anyone who gains from the well as a source of water. If successful, this well would be a gift to her on behalf of everyone who donated.

100% of your funds will be going towards the well in her name, I will cover any admin costs that may appear.

The funds will be held by me until they're ready for use. Once that's the case, I'll be responsible for ensuring the well is built and acknowledged as being in her name. I will provide any updates on this page or personally.
