Our hospital is grieving the loss of our dear friend and coworker, Fahissa. She passed away unexpectedly while on a surprise birthday trip she planned for her husband, David. After 18 years of working side by side with so many of us, her absence is deeply felt.

But right now our hearts are especially with David.

David isn’t just a coworker here — he is someone truly loved by this entire hospital. His kindness and the way he supports everyone around him… he is the person people look forward to seeing on a tough day. And now he is experiencing a loss so unimaginable it takes the breath out of all of us.

As he faces the heartbreaking task of bringing his wife home and planning her final arrangements, we want him to feel the love he’s always given so freely. We want him to know he’s not alone.
