In loving memory of Evin

Evin Paulos was almost 26 years young before his life was taken away too quickly. He was 4 years old when his family claimed refuge in the US, fleeing war-torn Iraq. The family had come to seek a peaceful and safe life here. Unfortunately, that is not what the family found. On June 3, Evin was stabbed to death by a killer who lived a few homes away from him. A supposed friend, this killer slaughtered Evin, stabbing him multiple times with a knife. Evin was todder under a bush and was left to rot in the Arizona  heat. Still alive, Evin crawled to the nearest cross-street to get help. He died alone in the desert before his body was discovered. 

Evin was a joy to all that he encountered. He was kind, nonjudgmental, and had a level of compassion unfathomable to many of us. He was looking forward to his 26th birthday (07/01/17) as it was supposed to be a year of new beginnings and hope for him. He had aspirations of supporting his single mother and running his own mechanic shop. 

He brought life and joy to all he was around. Evin had a gift of making anyone smile, regardless of whom they were. His horrible, violent death has left his family heartbroken and in pain. His immediate family is seeking justice for his spilled blood. This GoFundMe page has been set up to assist Evin's family during this difficult time to cover funeral expenses and legal services.
