In Loving Memory of Evelia

Hello my name is Maria and I am Evelia's sister in law. Evelia was married for eleven years to Ricky and had 3 children together, including a babygirl which was recently born in June 2023. Ricky described his wife as a very special and unique woman. The best mother to his children, the best wife and best friend he could ever have. Evelia had a beautiful thing about her from her way of making you laugh to her way of making you feel like family. Evelia was the foundation of their home she knew what do and how for her husband and children.

In July 2023 Evelia began struggling with postpartum depression, despite being at a low chapter in her life she remained full of faith and continued to pray to god for his support and love. On November 17th, Evelia tragically passed fighting against her depression. Ricky and his kids especially need this support because at the end of July Ricky left his job to be able to support Evelia with her ongoing depression and their children. We are asking for support in anyway whether it be donations, shares of the gofundme, or prayers for Evelia and her family.

Hola mi nombre es María y soy cuñada de Evelia. Evelia estuvo casada durante once años con Ricky y tuvieron 3 hijos juntos, incluida una niña que nació recientemente en junio de 2023. Ricky describió a su esposa como una mujer muy especial y única. La mejor madre para sus hijos, la mejor esposa y la mejor amiga que jamás podría tener. Evelia tenía algo hermoso en ella, desde su forma de hacerte reír hasta su forma de hacerte sentir como en familia. Evelia era la base de su hogar, sabía qué hacer y cómo para su marido y sus hijos.

En julio de 2023, Evelia comenzó a luchar contra la depresión posparto, a pesar de estar en un momento bajo de su vida, se mantuvo llena de fe y continuó orando a Dios por su apoyo y amor. El 17 de noviembre Evelia falleció trágicamente luchando contra su depresión. Ricky y sus hijos necesitan especialmente este apoyo porque a finales de julio Ricky dejó su trabajo para poder ayudar a Evelia con su depresión actual y a sus hijos. Estamos pidiendo apoyo de todos modos, ya sean donaciones, acciones del gofundme o oraciones por Evelia y su familia.
